It all started by sharing the vision with my sister in the Lord Ritah Kabayiza who embraced the assignment as both of us were going through life trying situations. We promised God to intervene and we would serve Him with all our all no matter what.
* On the on the 14th January 2012, this beautiful journey begun with a mini launch of WWAP – Wives With A Purpose at the Ndeere Centre where five (5) of us came together for tea and an inspirational talk from a Lady of God Mrs. Glad Ojelu.
* Knowledge sharing on how to become irresistible wives who would parent without tears as we raised Godly children, Never to pack our bags and of course to be wives directed of the Lord were our drivers.
* A year later, there was an identity change to Women After God With a Divine Purpose.
The Great Commissioner [JEHOVAH] then guided us into the bigger picture God wanted us to be apart of when we saw a change of names from WWAP to WAG [Women After God with a Divine Purpose]
* With an aim of encompassing the whole woman (Married, Single & Widowed ) after the introduction of our Monthly Prayer meetings at Capitol Palace – Naguru in a beautiful lounge we called the UPPER ROOM mid – 2012
* With miraculous manifestation, we were encouraged to meet twice a month in an Upper Room at the PRIMROSE SUITES BUGOLOOBI.
On the 23rd August 2013, Divine Purpose Ministries was officially registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee (we couldn’t register as an NGO as the requirement was to do community work for 3yrs).
We shall retain our status and grow a CSR function that will become a foundation.
God then called us to reach out to everyone Woman bears and this saw the birth of three [3] other departments:
* MAG – Men After God
* CAG & TAG – Children & Teenagers After God
* YAG – Youth After God [New kid on the block]
* The CAG | TAG | YAG now sits under the GH [God’s Heritage]
Umbrella.
* We fellowshipped at Capital Palace – Naguru till end of 2014 and moved to Little Treasures Kololo where we paid 50,000/= for each meeting – Ugx. 250,000/= per month
* After a Year, in 2016 the Lord moved us to UMA Showgrounds (Ground floor – Samona Building) were we paid Ugx.1M per month
* We then moved from TS House – UMA for two [2] years and in July 2020 the Lord asked us to move the fellowship home hosted by the Ministry Leaders.
We are not big in number because we believe God is still
seeking to train more quality disciples of God before He
releases us to the multitude.
If Jesus [God in flesh] would only raise 12 disciples – 1
betrayed him and remained with 11.
What kind of flock does He desire of us? We are seeking His
face on this matter for those we can account for.
